  5. I ALMOST went to this exact signing! Unfortunately, I have to budget myself to only one signing a month and I could not pass on Christopher Pike next week.

I'm so jealous those! Look at all that swag.

  7. I'm still not sure how I feel about the chimera, with their mixed bodies. Some of them find themselves repulsive while others think they are beautiful, but I think that's Taylor's way of describing normal people in life. I think it would be a hard life learning to accept yourself as a "monster" But I definitely don't think I'd want to be a Seraphim in this situation either. Such a hard decision! I think I'd choose chimera.

  12. Daughter of Smoke and Bone has been staring at me from my bookshelf for a while now, but I haven't read it yet. It feels like every time I pick it up a friend is shoving another book in my face and I have to read that one first...

  14. I have read it, I am rereading it again right now. And I wouldn't really care which kind of chimera. I like them all. Definitely not a seraphim. Not the ones in this book, at least. Gah, I love this book. Laini Taylor is AMAZING!!
