And here I thought....

...that I wouldn't be able to get books to review. This thought was back in February, when I had just started blogging. Now look how naïve I was. I have had NO shortage of incoming ARCs and swag, it's hard to keep track and painful to refuse. Anyway, in case you're wondering what's coming next on my blog, well, it's probably on that bookshelf somewhere.

The top row is full of books I've bought and have yet to read, the middle two are to-review sometime, and the bottom row books are for future giveaways, or just extras for friends...ah man I really need to reduce this.

(This shelf is the bottom half of one of nine in my 11'x12' room. All of you probably have similar situations.)

Attention to all aspiring book bloggers, don't worry: There are always books to review.

:)

A very happy, if overwhelmed,

Jane

  1. I haven't been very lucky in the ARC's department yet--maybe I haven't been asking the right people. O_O Love your books, girly! Congrats on all of them--I've heard that Velveteen is good! (:

On another note, The Diviners and Jellicoe Road are AMAZING. Love them, lol. Have fun with your books!

  2. EON is amazing! I'd recommend jumping to that asap, same with Insignia.

Ah, I've been blogging a little over 6 months and I'm so nervous, idk how to approach companies about reviewing books.

    1. If you email me, I can tell you how I go about asking! Not that I've had more than two replies...but still worth a shot. :)

  4. Megan and Lili, check out Shelf Awareness and sign up for their daily email. I get nearly all my ARCs through that (since I haven't really been around long enough to request directly from publishers yet).

    1. Ohh I'm looking that up! Yeah most of the books I review aren't from publishers. (Four ever.) So I get lucky at the indie bookstore I volunteer at (from events and ARC review programs), as well as just random happenstances. I trade or giveaway the ones I don't want, as often as I can! :) So other people can appreciate them. But still. How the heck did my shelf get like this? lol
